i think making the andybot loot like a cartoon would really give the box the finsl touch with that 50-60's sci-fi toy theme it has.

Just posterized the image a bit, threw in a bit of cloud and burlap texture, and then superimposed it over an aged colored background (like whatever paper you'd use) and desaturated a bit.

It does look like "Rat Works" doesn't it? I blame that on Snapfish compression,

Oce, you can't tell (again because of the compression) but I do have a "paint daub" filter applied to it. My original intent was to make it look more "cartoony". I'll probably play around with that more when I actually start printing out proofs.
